Protocol tips
- Cells are fixed with 70% ethanol at 4°C for 24 h.

- Cells are stained with 50 μg/mL of PI and 100 μg/mL of RNase A at 37°C for 30 min in the dark.

"Cell cycle analysis was conducted by using a Cell Cycle Analysis Kit (Beyotime, Shanghai, P.R. China) following the manufacturer’s instruction. Briefly, after treatment with and without EA for 24, 48 or 72 h, PANC-
1 cells were harvested. PANC-1 cells were trypsinized and centrifuged at 1,500×g for 5 min. The supernatant was removed and the cells were washed with phosphate buffered saline (PBS) and fixed with 70% ethanol at 4°C for 24 h. The cells were then washed and stained with a solution containing 50 μg/mL of PI and 100 μg/mL of RNase A at 37°C for 30 min in the dark. The cellular DNA content and cell cycle phase distribution were analyzed using flow cytometry (Beckman Coulter, Epics XL)"
