Publication protocol

Following the manufacturer's instruction to transfect suspension cells, 10 μL vector suspension was combined with 10 μL (1 μg) siRNA. By adding 2 μL Reagent B and centrifugation for 5 min (11,000 rpm; 4°C), the siRNA was incorporated to the hemagglutinating virus of Japan (HVJ) vector. Afterward, supernatant was removed, and the pellet was resuspended in 30 μL provided buffer. Then, 5 μL Reagent C was added. Subsequently, the reaction mix was given into a 2-mL reaction tube containing 5 × 105 cell in 500 μL normal growth media. Thereafter, the mix was centrifuged for 20 min (2000 rpm; 20°C). Then, supernatant was discarded, and pellet was resuspended in 2 mL media and incubated for 48 h at 37°C and 5% CO2 in a six-well plate.
