Protocol tips

Upstream tips
- 6000 cells/ well were seeded in a 96 well plate.

- Pretreated with pirarubicin, oxaliplatin or HCPT for 4 days

Publication protocol

The cell viability assay was performed with cholecystokinin-8 (CCK-8; Dojindo, Japan) as previously reported.46 Briefly, 6000 viable cells were seeded in triplicates in 96-well plates and treated with pirarubicin, oxaliplatin or HCPT since the onset of culture period for 4 days. At indicated time points, each well was added with 10 μl CCK-8 and incubated for another 1 h. Then, the OD values were determined via a microplate reader (Synergy HT, BioTek, Winooski, VT, USA) at an absorbance of 450 nm. The cell viability rates were presented as a percentage of the control value which was recorded at the beginning (Time 0).
