Publication protocol

The OxiSelect intracellular ROS assay kit (Cell Biolabs, San Diego, CA) was used according to the protocol of the manufacturer. Cells overexpressing select Hax-1 constructs were treated with 0.33 mm H2O2, and intracellular ROS levels were measured after 1 and 4 h of treatment.
