- For low 260/230 readings the best approach is to try washing sample (precipitation) with ethanol to desalt it.

Publication protocol

Total RNA was prepared from the isolated PA and MA from C57BL mice using TRIzol reagent (Invitrogen) and quantified with NanoDrop 2000c (Thermo Scientific). The equal amount of RNA from each sample was reversely transcribed to cDNA with High-Capacity cDNA Reverse Transcription Kit (Applied Biosystems).
