Publication protocol

At 8 h and 24 h post exposure, cells were collected for RNA extraction using the MagNA Pure Compact RNA Isolation kit (Roche Diagnostics, Mannheim, Germany). RNA quality checking and reverse transcription were performed as previously described [27]. For each reaction, negative controls without RNA and without reverse transcriptase were added.
