Publication protocol

For silencing of integrin subunitsβ5orαv, ILK or Src, 50 nM ofthe predesigned integrin-specific siRNA sequences (Silencer SelectPredesigned siRNA; Ambion, USA; siRNA ID# s7591 (si(β5)), s7568(si(αv)), s7404 (si(ILK)), s13414 (si(Src)) and control human nonspe-cific siRNA (si(−)) (Silencer Select Predesigned siRNA Negative Control#1 siRNA; Ambion) were used. The transfection of siRNAs was per-formed using Lipofectamine RNAiMAX Reagent (Invitrogen) accordingto the manufacturer's instructions. Twenty four hours after transfectioncells were plated and 24 h later treated with anticancer drugs for assess-ment of cell survival.
