Publication protocol

HEK-293T cells, CHME3 cells and Murine Embryonic Fibroblasts (MEFs) were grown in Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium (DMEM; Invitrogen, Life Technologies) while U1 (monocytic cell line latently infected with HIV-1), THP-1, and U937 cells were grown in RPMI (Roswell Park Memorial Institute) 1640 supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS; HyClone) and 100 units penicillin, 0.1 mg streptomycin and 0.25 μg amphotericin B per ml at 37°C in the presence of 5% CO2 in a humified incubator.
