Upstream tips

Publication protocol

Analysis of unconcentrated conditioned medium cytokines was performed using the RayBio® Biotin Label-based Rat Antibody Array 1 (RayBiotech, Norcross, GA, USA) according to the manufacturer's instructions. To verify the results, the same unconcentrated conditioned medium was assayed by ELISA for bFGF, VEGF, TGF-β1, IGF-1, HGF and IL-10. The blood samples were assayed by ELISA for IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α and IL-10 whereas intestinal tissue samples were assayed by ELISA for IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α, TGF-β1, Activin A and IL-10.
