2.5. Site-Directed Mutagenesis of AP1 and NFκB Sites of the AhR Promoter
AhR promoter analysis with Mathinspector software (Genomatix Software, Germany) revealed the presence of 3 AP1 and 3 NFκB putative binding sites. These sites were mutated using the QuickChange site-directed mutagenesis kit (Stratagene, France). Sequences of sense primers used for mutagenesis are listed in Table 2. Presence of the mutations was checked by restriction analysis and verified by DNA sequencing.
