2.8. Isolation of genomic DNA and genomic PCR
Genomic DNA from 1×106 cells was isolated after stable GFP-cassette integration (typically 12–15 days after transfection) using PureLink™ Genomic DNA Mini Kit (Invitrogen) following the manufacturer’s protocol or by following Gentra DNA purification protocol (Gentra Puregen Handbook, Qiagen). From the isolated genomic DNA PCR was conducted with Q5 polymerase (for PCR primers and conditions, see Supplementary Data).
