Publication protocol
Cell cycle analysis was performed using a Click-iT EdU Pacific Blue flow cytometry assay kit according to the manufacturer's protocol. In brief, 10 μmol/L of 5-ethynyl-2′-deoxyuridine (EdU) was added into culture medium, and cells were incubated for 60 minutes at 37°C. Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde for 60 minutes, and then the EdU was labeled with Pacific Blue. 7-Aminoactinomycin D (7-AAD) was added for measuring DNA content and cell cycle distribution, and cell cycle analysis was performed using a BD FACSAria II flow cytometer.
