Publication protocol

1×105 cells per ml seeded overnight in 25 cm2 flask were treated with vernodalin for 24 hours. Cells were then fixed with 70% ethanol overnight. Cells were washed twice with PBS and stained with CycleTEST™ PLUS DNA Reagent Kit (BD Biosciences) according to manufacturer’s instructions. Cell cycle distribution of nuclear DNA was determined by flow cytometry (BD Biosciences) by analyzing at least 20,000 cells per sample. The percentage of cells in G1, S and G2 phases were analyzed by Diva software (BD Biosciences).
