Publication protocol

PSCs were seeded in a 6-well plate with 1× 103 cells/cm2. After 3 days of culture, PSCs were rinsed with PBS and 1 ml of fixative per well was added for 20 min. Then 1 ml per well of working solution of β-galactosidase with X-Gal was placed and maintained at 37°C overnight (C0602, Beyotime Biotechnology, China). The senescent cells were observed under microscope and counted from 5 random fields of vision.
