Publication protocol

4. Transfection
Cells were plated 24 hours prior to transfection at a density of 2×10 cells per 35 mm culture dish. Cells were transiently transfected using Lipofectamine LTX (Invitrogen, Carlsbad, CA, USA) and 2.5 µg of each HDAC isoform expression vector or mock vector as a control. Twenty-four hours after transfection, the cells were treated with cisplatin for the indicated length of time.
