Bisulfite DNA methylation analysis
Genomic DNA from cell lines and human primary cells was isolated using DNeasy Blood & Tissue kit (QIAGEN, Hilden, Germany). Genomic DNA from animal tissues was isolated using proteinase/phenol extraction. Bisulfite DNA conversion was performed using the EpiTect Bisulfite Kit (QIAGEN, Hilden, Germany). PCRs on bisulfite treated DNA were performed with primers listed in using the KAPA2G Robust HotStart ReadyMix (Kapa Bioystems, Boston, Massachusetts, United States). Methylation of individual CpG sites was detected by direct sequencing using T-Tracking (QIAGEN, Hilden, Germany) [].
