Publication protocol

Total RNA was isolated using TRIzol and quantified using the Qubit RNA HS Assay Kit. A working solution of Qubit RNA HS Reagent (1:200 dilution) was prepared in Qubit RNA HS Buffer. Samples were prepared by adding 1 ml of total RNA to 199 ml of a working solution of Qubit RNA HS Reagent. After brief mixing, samples were incubated at room temperature for 2 minutes. Total RNA was quantified in a Qubit 2.0 fluorometer at an excitation maximum wavelength of 644 nm (bandwidth, 45 nm) and an emission maximum wavelength of 673 nm (bandwidth, 55 nm)
