Protocol tips

Upstream tips
- It is recommended to keep the final concentration of solvents such as DMSO to ≤1%
Downstream tips
- Lower signals than expected when H2 O2 is applied to cells is due to catalase and glutathione peroxidase, that can rapidly eliminate H2O2

Cellular ROS were measured using a commercial kit (ROS-GloTM H2O2 Assay, Promega) according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
