Publication protocol
Knockdown of ATF4, p75NTR and IL-8 was performed as described [19]. An amount of 40 nM ATF4 and IL-8 and 60 nM p75NTR siRNA was transfected into HUVECs by use of RNAiFect Transfection Reagent (Qiagen, Hilden, Germany). The same dose of scramble siRNA was used as a control. Silencing efficiency was verified by qPCR and western blot analysis [20].
