- This kit can be used for the isolation of RNA from up to 5x10^5 cells, or up to 5 mg of tissue.		- Always blank the spectrophotometer with your elution buffer. - When measuring 260 nm absorbance, a unit of 1 on this scale equals to 40 ng of RNA.

Publication protocol

Total RNA from cells and tumor tissues were extracted using RNeasy Micro or Mini Kit (Qiagen) according to the manufacturer’s instructions cDNA synthesis from total RNA was performed using High Capacity RNA to cDNA Master Mix (Applied Biosystems) in accordance with the manufactures instructions. Real time quantitative PCR was performed using an Applied Biosystems Prism 7500 or Step-One Plus sequence detection system and data were analyzed according to the ΔΔCT method and expressed relative to the control mean (set to equal “1”) as described previously
