Publication protocol

Regarding DNA extraction from bacterial
culture, the bacterial pathogens described above were
cultured in an appropriate broth medium, and DNA
was isolated from the bacterial suspensions using the
QIAamp DNA Mini Kit (Qiagen, Hilden, Germany).
The DNA samples were then used for evaluation of the
primer specificity and sensitivity of RFBS24 ver. 5 and
for comparison of the detection limits between RFBS24 and RFBS24 ver. 5. The concentrations of DNA in the
samples were determined by optical density at 260 nm
(OD260) on a NanoDrop 1000 Spectrophotometer
(Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA, USA)
