Publication protocol

RNA was isolated according to the manufacturer’s protocol using Nucleo Spin RNA kit (Macherey Nagel). The isolated RNA was eluted in 40 μl RNAse free water and was examined for RNA concentration and quality by spectrophotometric measurements and gel analysis, respectively. cDNA was synthesized from isolated RNA (1 μg of transfected NIH3T3 and A549 and 0.5 μg of transfected C2C12 cells, respectively) using First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit (Thermo Scientific) following the manufacturer’s instruction. The synthesized cDNA was stored at −20 °C.
