	Thereafter, cells were activated with TGF-β1 (5 ng/ml) for 24 h, then total RNA was isolated using the GenElute™ Mammalian Total RNA Miniprep Kit and the RNA amount was measured by a NanoDrop® ND-1000 Spectrophotometer (Wilmington, DE). Subsequently, cDNA was synthesized with iScript™ cDNA Synthesis Kit (BioRad, Veenendaal, The Netherlands). 10ng cDNA was used for each PCR reaction.

hPSCs were seeded in 24 well plate (2 × 104 cells/well) or 12 well plate (6 × 104 cells/well) in complete medium. After 18 h, cells were transfected with anti-miR-199a and anti-miR-214 hairpin inhibitors for 24 h.
