Publication protocol

The WI-38 or NHLF cells (2 × 105 cells/well) were transfected for 24 h with control siRNA, GLI-1 siRNA, GLI-2 siRNA, MEK1 siRNA, and ERK1 siRNA by using lipofetamine 3000 reagents in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. After siRNA transfection, the cells were subjected to hypoxia (1% O2) for the indicated time intervals for western blotting or luciferase activity assays.
