	HEK293 cells were cultured in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium (DMEM) supplemented with 10% (v/v) fetal bovine serum (FBS), 100 unit/mL penicillin and 100 μg/mL streptomycin at 37 °C in 5% CO2. HEK293-APPswe cells were grown in the same culture medium, with the addition of 1 mg/mL geneticin (G418).
