The human HaCaT keratinocytes, HaCaT (non-tumorigenic), HaCaT-ras A5 (benign tumorigenic) and HaCaT-ras II4 (malignant) [18, 19] were cultured in Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium (DMEM) supplemented with 10% heat-inactivated fetal bovine serum (FBS), 100 μg/mL streptomycin and 100 U/mL penicillin. Cells were maintained in a humidified atmosphere containing 5% CO2 at 37 °C.
