Publication protocol

Male 8-week-old C57BL/6J mice were obtained from Harlan Laboratories, Jerusalem, Israel. H5V murine heart-derived ECs and bovine aortic endothelial (BAE) cells were grown at 37°C in 8% CO2 in Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium-F12 and Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium-low glucose, respectively (Biological Industries, Beit Haemek, Israel), supplemented with 2 mML-glutamine, 100 U/ml penicillin, 100 µg/ml streptomycin and 10% FCS.
