Publication protocol

Primary bovine pulmonary artery endothelial cells (PAECs) were obtained from Cell Applications (San Diego, CA). Cells were cultured in F12K medium supplemented with 10% FBS and antibiotics. Passages from 2 to 10 were used for experiments.

Oxygen Exposure
Confluent PAECs were exposed to normoxia (room air, 5% CO2) or to hyperoxia (95% oxygen, 5% CO2) in a sealed chamber for 1–48 h in F12K medium containing 4% FBS.
