Publication protocol

Cultured cells were washed with cold PBS and lysed on ice in M-PER (Thermo Scientific, IL). The lysate was collected and clarified by centrifugation at 12.000g for 10 min at 4°C. Total protein was measured in the supernatant by the Lowry method. Electrophoresis of each sample containing 20–30 µg of total protein was performed on a 4–20% LongLife Gel (NuSep, Invitrogen, CA) in Tris Hepes Running Buffer (NuSep, Invitrogen, CA).
