	- Mice epididymal white adipose tissue samples are homogenized in T-PER™ Tissue Protein Extraction Reagent with a protease inhibitor cocktail and a phosphatase inhibitor. Centrifuge the sample at 10,000 × g for 5 minutes to pellet cell/tissue debris.

Publication protocol

The levels of protein expression were evaluated by Western blot analysis. In brief, protein extracts from samples were homogenized in T-PER reagent (Pierce Biotechnology, Rockford, IL) with a protease inhibitor cocktail and a phosphatase inhibitor (Roche Applied Science, Indianapolis, IN), as previously described (19).
