-Store at 4°C for 6 months, at -20°C for 12 months. -Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. -The standard solutions are best used within 2 hours.	-The diluted Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex (ABC) solution should not be prepared more than 1 hour prior to the experiment. -Prepare the substrate solution immediately before use or bring the pre-made substrate to room temperature. -Sodium azide is an inhibitor of HRP. Do not include the azide in buffers or wash solutions if HRP-labeled conjugate is used for detection.

Publication protocol

The levels of TNF-α, IL-1β, and fractalkine in the spinal cord were measured by the ELISA (Wuhan Boster Biological Technology Co., Ltd., Wuhan, China).21 The unilateral spinal cord was dissected, ground with a grinder, and loaded onto an ultrasonic tissue homogenizer. The supernatant was collected after centrifugation. The production levels of TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-10 were evaluated using ELISA kits according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The optical density values at 490 nm were recorded using a microplate reader (NK3; Ladsystems, Helsinki, Finland). The average levels of TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-10 were calculated based on the standard curve.
