cell suspension of 5 × 104 cells	MEM-α (GlutaMAX) supplemented with 10% (vol/vol) FBS, 1 mM sodium pyruvate, 1 mM NEAA, 1×-concentrated PSG, 0.1 mM β-ME, 1×-concentrated N-2 supplement, 103 units per ml LIF, 10 ng ml−1 EGF, 1 ng ml−1 bFGF and 40 ng ml−1 GDNF. Filter-sterilize the solution through a 0.22-µm filtration device.
