	The RCC cell line Caki-2, was obtained from American Type Culture Collection. All cultures were maintained according to the manufacturer’s suggestions. MIF siRNA (catalog no. sc-37137), and control scramble siRNA (catalog no. sc-37007) were purchased from Santa Cruz Biotechnology. A total of 2 * 105 cells were plated in a six-well plate for 24 h, and siRNA transfection was conducted using the Lipofectamine 2000 kit according to the manufacturer’s instructions (Invitrogen).
