	RAW264.7 (ATCC® TIB-71™: RAW) cells were obtained from ATCC. Cells were cultured in Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle’s Medium (DMEM) containing 10% heat-inactivated fetal bovine serum (iFBS), 100units/ml penicillin, and 100 mg/ml streptomycin at 37°C and 5%CO2. Early passage (2–10) cultures were used in all experiments.For knock-down of SIRT-2, we co-transfected RAW cells with p65 and CBP plasmids together with either SIRT2 siRNA (si-SIRT2) (Dharmacon Cat #: L-061727-02-0005) or scrambled control (si-Ctrl) (Dharmacon Cat #: D-001810-10-05) with RNAiMax reagent and incubated and RAW cells were detached and suspended DMEM containing 10% iFBS. The whole cell lysates were collected for western blotting.
