	NRCMs were transfected with gene-specific siRNA for Nrf2 silence (SANTACRUZ, SC-156128) or plasmid for TAK1 overexpression using Lipo 6000 transfection reagent according to the manufacturer’s instructions. After another 24 h incubation, NRCMs were cultured in serum-free DMEM/F12 for 12 h and then were stimulated with PE (50 μM) or Myr (20 μM). The treatment dosage of Myr was determined according to our previous publication [9].
