Publication protocol

Supernatants from siRNA-transfected HEK293 cells were collected and assayed in triplicate
using a PierceTM lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) cytotoxicity assay kit (Thermo) according to the
manufacturer’s instruction. The assay was measured by 490nm absorbance with a microplate
spectrophotometer (Bio-rad). Percent LDH release was calculated after background subtraction
with blank wells.
