	Fix cell samples with Fixation solution for 1 h. Incubate in Permeabilisation solution (0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS) for 2 min on ice. Label and incubate for 60 min at +37°C in a humidified atmosphere in the dark	If low labelling is found, reduce fixation time or try 2% buffered paraformaldehyde

Publication protocol

Tet-On stably transfected HEK293 cells or MSCs grown on CC2-treated 4-well glass slides (Nalge Nunc International, Naperville, IL) were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde, and apoptotic cells were stained for TUNEL positivity using an in situ cell death detection kit (Roche Applied Science), following the manufacturer's instructions
