Publication protocol

Short Tandem Repeat (STR) Analysis: The AmpFLSTR NGM PCR Amplification Kit (Applied Biosystems) was used according to the manufacturer’s protocol and reaction products were analyzed using a Genetic Analyser 3500 (Applied Biosystems) unit to generate an STR fingerprint. Data analysis was carried out with the GeneMapper 5 software (Thermo Fisher Scientific).
