Publication protocol
Enzymatic MycoAlert™ Mycoplasma detection kit was used according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Briefly, the ratio of the ATPs level in each sample before (Reading A) and after (Reading B) the addition of MycoAlert™ substrate, was considered an indicator for the presence of Mycoplasma contamination. The presence of contamination was proved if the Reading B/Reading A ratio was greater than 1
