Protocol tips

Upstream tips
• Kit detects and differentiates Parainfluenza virus types 1, 2 and 3 antigens directly in nasopharyngeal aspirates or in cell culture preparations.
• Use IMAGEN Parainfluenza Kit as a rapid, sensitive, and specific method for detection and differentiation of Parainfluenza virus types 1, 2, and 3 antigens
Protocol tips
• Specimens are incubated with the FITC conjugated reagents for 15 minutes.
• Excess reagent is then removed by washing with phosphate-buffered saline (PBS).
• The stained areas are mounted and viewed using epifluorescence illumination.
Downstream tips
