Publication protocol

Necroptosis was also analyzed using a Green Fluorescent Protein-Certified Apoptosis/Necrosis Detection kit (cat. No. ENZ-51002; Enzo Life Sciences), according to the manufacturer’s protocol. This kit contained 7-aminoactinomycin D (7-AAD) and Annexin V for the detection of necroptosis and apoptosis, respectively. In brief, cells were plated into 8-well chamber slides for 24h of serum starvation. Cells were observed under a confocal microscope (×200) after staining with 7-aminoactinomycin D (7-AAD) to identify necroptotic cells coated in red color and Annexin V-Enzo Gold (enhanced Cyanine-3) to detect apoptotic cells-stained yellow color.
